Chapter One
Sunray was laying down with her horses and dogs in the barn, after wining a rodeo. "Gosh I hope that rodeo was worth winnin.'" Suddenly Alexandra came runing up her driveway.
"Hey Sunray!"
"Hi."
"I have my first date with Kevin tonight."
"Congrats. I just won a rodeo. Gosh that was hard."
"Awesome! How did you do it?" She looked admiringly at Sunray.
"I got on a strange horse and kept calming it down. It was the most dangerous horse there. But I stayed on."
"You could attract some guys you know." Alexandra was always thinking about boys. Sunray replied, "Probably not. That horse nearly killed them boys. Oh and the horse was the reward."
"What does it look like? Does it have flowing hair? Does it walk properly with it's head held high? I could teach it to walk if it doesn't." Alexandra pretended to walk like a super model.
"its a mustang. It's coat is black and white and she is stubborn."
"Oooh, a girl!"
"She is very stubborn."
"Well, here comes Kevin to pick me up. He drives a mustang too! An all black one too!" A black mustang pulled up on the driveway and a handsome man of about eighteen got out. His blue eyes sparkled. His blonde hair reflected the sun. He looked at Sunray and smiled, but it wasn't a happy smile, it was more like a "I'm out to get you" look. "Can you show us your mustang, Sunray, you know before we leave?" Sunray nodded and ran to the barn. "I'm going to train her." She swung herself up on the bareback horse, who immediately bucked and reared. Sunray whispered to it softly. She looked up as the horse calmed down and said, "See ya, Alex. Be careful." Alexandra waved back, in awe of the horse. Kevin opened the door and she got in. They disappeared under the lowering sun as it set in the evening. The horse started galloping and Sunray decided to name it, Twilight.
